  • Saturday 6th December at 10:00am (additional session. Please note: whilst the school will be open for a tour, it will not be a typical school day with all children present)

If you would like to attend one of these tours, please contact the school office to book a place on 01303 251353. This helps us manage numbers and ensure a smooth experience for everyone visiting.

We hope you’ll be able to join us and look forward to welcoming you to Capel-le-Ferne Primary School.

Welcome

Welcome from the Headteacher

Dear Parents, Carers and Visitors,

As Headteacher, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Capel-le-Ferne Primary School.

We are a one-form entry school, serving children from Reception through to Year 6. At Capel-le-Ferne, we are immensely proud of our caring and inclusive school community, where every child is nurtured and valued. Our school is rooted in the core values of Independence, Confidence, Creativity, and Respect, which underpin all that we do.

Our dedicated staff are committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best—both academically and personally. We place great importance on mental wellbeing and social development, helping children to grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.

We offer a rich and engaging curriculum that fosters a love of learning and prepares our pupils for the next stage of their journey. Our beautiful setting and surrounding local area provide a unique backdrop for creating meaningful and memorable learning experiences that bring the curriculum to life.

We are proud of the strong partnerships we hold with parents, carers, and the wider community. We actively encourage your involvement in school life and your child’s learning. Our committed Governing Board plays a key role in both supporting and challenging the school, helping us to shape and maintain a clear strategic direction.

At Capel-le-Ferne, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, and we expect every member of staff and volunteer to share in this responsibility.

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I hope it gives you a sense of what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow. Should you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch—we would be delighted to hear from you.

Warm regards,
Mr Richards
